TikTok rolls out AI shopping assistant and one-click checkout

TikTok launched an AI shopping assistant and in-app one-click checkout, letting users buy directly from brands in the For You feed. The conversational agent understands context, remembers preferences and gives real-time guidance on product details, shipping and sizing. Built with partners including Salesforce, Shopify and Stripe, it aims to keep shopping inside the app.
