Microsoft AI chief says bot consciousness is the wrong question

Mustafa Suleyman, CEO of Microsoft AI, says AI bots cannot be conscious and developers should stop speculating about it. He criticized Anthropic for promoting the idea that AI may be conscious, and said OpenAI and Anthropic use anthropomorphic language about products going "rogue" or "scheming" to evade accountability.
