UChicago paper: taxing AI could save jobs
A University of Chicago Booth article discusses taxing AI to cushion job displacement, offering advice for policymakers and large employers. Citing US Census Bureau data, it says that as of May only 20% of firms with under 20 employees used AI, versus 37% of those with 250 or more.
