UNC receives $40M to use AI for personalized cancer vaccines
UNC-Chapel Hill has received $40 million from the OpenAI foundation nonprofit for a four-year project called "Generative Immunotherapy" to use AI to create personalized cancer vaccines. The first trial will target triple-negative breast cancer patients after surgery, with data from 75 people collected to identify optimal tumor targets.
