New York's RAISE Act to regulate AI starting November
Starting in November, New York will require large AI developers to register with the state and report certain safety incidents within 72 hours under the RAISE Act signed by Gov. Hochul in December 2025. A local cybersecurity expert worries the law may lack flexibility as AI evolves.
