Tavus launches Griffin, a real-time video-call AI avatar
Tavus introduced Griffin, billed as the first "Human Interaction Model," which holds real-time video calls processing facial expressions, tone of voice and gestures. In a Tavus study, 48 percent of participants believed Griffin was a real person after a one-minute call, versus a 2 percent maximum for previous systems.
