Smart glasses that decode silent mouthing into text at speech speed.
Subvocal, a YC F26 startup founded by Georgia Tech students, is building smart glasses that use radio-frequency sensing to decode silently mouthed words into text at speech speed. The team first prototyped with EMG electrodes at TreeHacks, then switched to RF because of sweat, interference and wearability issues, aiming to enable voice input in libraries, offices and other public settings.
