Marvell unveils second-gen Structera X amid stock slump
Amid an 11% weekly drop in the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index and a nearly 17% fall in Marvell's stock, Marvell launched its second-generation Structera X memory expander at the OCP Summit. The chip adds up to 6TB of DDR5 memory per server, shares it across four hosts, and the company says it cuts time to first token by 40%-50%. The first generation is already shipping.
