whitetree: KD-tree supporting inserts and deletes
The author released whitetree, a dynamic index built on scipy cKDTree using whitening for exact Mahalanobis searches. It reports 40–300x speedups over sklearn BallTree and 7–60x over FAISS Flat at 500k points in static tests, while supporting interleaved inserts and deletes with exact results.
