General Compute raises $100M Series A
Inference-focused neocloud General Compute raised a $100M Series A led by Blackbird Ventures and Abstract Ventures at an $800M post-money valuation. The startup has a $400M chip purchase deal with SambaNova and added Positron and Cerebras as suppliers. Its CEO said fears of a chip-led collapse are overstated.
