CNN signs multi-year Google generative AI partnership
CNN announced a multi-year agreement with Google to develop generative AI news applications, granting Google expanded rights to use certain journalistic content for new features. Financial terms were not disclosed; CNN said the deal also aims to set a framework for AI use of its content and protect its IP.
