New Hampshire proposes rules for AI in pharmacy
The New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy proposed rules under Part Ph 522 setting standards for pharmacy use of AI in prescription processing, drug utilization review, dispensing and clinical decision support. The core principle: technology may assist practice but cannot replace licensed personnel's professional judgment and accountability. It could be among the first state pharmacy-specific AI frameworks.
