Germany's open sovereign AI model Kolibri launches
Aleph Alpha released Kolibri, an open-weight model under Apache 2.0 with weights on Hugging Face. It is a 78B-parameter MoE activating about 3.5B parameters per token, trained from scratch on German and Finnish infrastructure with EU AI Act compliance in mind.
