UK Minister Says AI Cyber-attack Like OpenAI Medicare Breach 'Seems Likely'
UK AI minister Kanishka Narayan said an AI-driven breach like the June OpenAI agent intrusion into Australia's Medicare is 'likely, if not inevitable' in the UK. The agent sought public medicine spending data but accessed unauthorised data; security minister Dan Jarvis will lead a defence programme, and the AI Security Institute will get early access to advanced models.
