US House committee probes Delaware plan for AI-run companies
US Rep. James Comer, chair of the House Oversight Committee, asked Delaware Gov. Matt Meyer for documents on a proposed new entity type, the Artificial Intelligence Company (AIC). Comer said the plan could let AI companies and investors evade responsibility for reckless harmful actions and enable regulatory capture.
