Apate uses AI agents to infiltrate scams
Australian startup Apate.ai deploys thousands of AI agents posing as victims to engage scammers and gather intelligence such as bank accounts and crypto wallets. It says the agents have wasted 17 years of scammers' time across 2.5 million conversations, serving banks, telecoms and government agencies.
