AI speeds up work, but better jobs won't appear automatically
A Gallup-partnered survey finds 63% of US employees who have used AI say it helps them finish tasks faster, 46% report higher-quality output and 47% spend more time on interesting work, yet AI use is concentrated among college graduates, managers and remote workers. The article argues faster work is only an opportunity; whether it becomes better jobs depends on employer choices, and handing everyone a chatbot won't close the gap.
