OpenAI releases GPT-Rosalind-6 biology reasoning model
OpenAI released GPT-Rosalind-6, a frontier reasoning model for biology, drug discovery and translational medicine, offered only to vetted researchers. It reuses GPT-6 Astra's weights with no extra training, allows more dual-use biology queries while still refusing weaponization requests, and is rated High in bio/chem and Critical in cybersecurity under its Preparedness Framework.
