Google restricts free Gemini access starting October 9
Starting October 9, free Gemini users will be limited to Flash Lite; standard Flash requires the $4.99/month Google AI Plus plan, which will itself lose Gemini Pro. Top-tier Gemini Pro and the Deep Think reasoning option will be restricted to Google AI Pro or Ultra subscribers.
