Flock Safety offers buyouts to shrink workforce
Surveillance tech company Flock Safety, facing backlash over its license plate recognition technology, has offered voluntary buyouts to its 1,500 employees, expecting significant interest. Without buyouts, the company would almost certainly need layoffs. Several cities and states have dropped the technology, and internal morale has suffered.
