New framework sets four principles for health-literate AI

Researchers propose the concept of 'health-literate AI' and four design/governance principles — comprehension, agency, accountability, and proportionality — to ensure health-related AI communicates meaningfully so users can understand, decide, and act on health information beyond mere technical accuracy.
