A developer on r/LocalLLaMA reports weeks of testing Embedding Gemma 2 (about 330MB at Q8, 768 dims) for finding screenshots by text query. Korean and English queries work, but cross-language similarity is lower and results are sensitive to wording and visual traits; the tests were small and not rigorous.
