Rep. Dave Min introduces AI data transparency bill
U.S. Representative Dave Min introduced H.R. 10578, the Artificial Intelligence Data Authorization and Transparency Act, which now has 3 cosponsors. The bill would direct the federal government to collect and publish detailed data on how AI and automation affect jobs, wages and worker behavior, including monthly employer surveys, household time-use surveys, longitudinal worker tracking, new AI adoption questions in the Census Bureau's Business Trends and Outlook Survey, and an annual federal report.
