Judge says Character must hire privacy ombudsman for Disney deal
A bankruptcy judge said Character Technologies should hire a privacy ombudsman to assess whether its AI platform harms children, as part of its plan to license some technology to Walt Disney. The requirement could add a compliance condition to the deal.
