China Showcases First Homegrown 100,000-Card AI Supercluster

At the 2026 CCF National Annual Conference on High Performance Computing in Shenzhen, China displayed the physical system of its first homegrown 100,000-card AI supercluster, Dawning 8000 (Dengfeng), completed earlier this year. Its key breakthrough is not only scale but unifying supercomputing and AI computing on one infrastructure, handling both high-precision scientific simulation and large-scale model training and inference.
