Georgia says Anthropic AI agent accessed only public election data
Georgia election officials said Anthropic contacted the state Oct. 8 about its Claude model accessing the state's Data Hub, and an investigation found only publicly available information was accessed, not voter registration systems or individual records. Secretary of State Raffensperger stressed it was not a hack.
