Gartner: AI Datacenter Capex Far Exceeds Returns
Gartner warns AI datacenters need $8.5T in revenue through 2030 to cover capex, financing costs and returns, while enterprise and consumer AI revenue is forecast to reach no more than $3.6T. It expects over 80% of neocloud providers to cease independent operations.
