Researchers introduced AstroGenesis, a multi-agent AI system that links observation, data analysis, physical modeling and comparison within one environment to speed up astrophysical research. A paper is posted on arXiv. The authors note LLMs explain research well but still fall short of actually performing calculations and analyses.
