Anthropic Signs First Licensing Deal, With AP for Elections
Anthropic struck its first content licensing deal, partnering with the Associated Press just before the midterms so Claude can surface real-time election data. Anthropic had previously avoided such deals, while OpenAI holds over a dozen publisher agreements; financial terms and duration were not disclosed.
