Kazakhstan hosts Aqaba Process summit on AI security
On Nov. 6, Astana hosted an Aqaba Process summit on AI security, attended by Kazakh President Tokayev, Jordan's King Abdullah II and the presidents of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to discuss emerging security challenges from AI. The Aqaba Process, launched by Abdullah II in 2015, originally focused on counterterrorism.
