OpenRouter's Alex Atallah and Replit's Amjad Masad told a16z that the enterprise future is not one all-purpose model but routing across specialized agents with per-task cost evaluation. Both admitted the orchestration protocols, agent-to-agent standards and data sovereignty plumbing are still missing.
