Poll: 57% of Americans say AI is bad for society
An ABC/Washington Post/Ipsos poll finds 57% of Americans say AI is bad for society versus 42% good, and about two-thirds oppose new US data centers, with stronger opposition locally. Among those under 30, 65% view AI negatively, while Republicans are more evenly split.
