Study: 10 Minutes of AI Use Erodes Persistence

A UC Berkeley team's peer-reviewed study at the COLM conference, with 1,222 participants in randomized controlled trials, found that relying on an AI tool for just 10 minutes significantly impairs focus and persistence on difficult tasks.
