Stripe says AI agent purchases are growing, but won't share numbers

Stripe says AI agents shopping via its Link service grew from about 70 to around 200, including Meta's Muse and Grok Bot. September transactions rose 38-fold and volume 20-fold, but from a small base and without disclosed totals. Most spend is about $100 per transaction; retail is 36% of transactions.
