Stella & Dot founder raises $5M seed for AI marketing startup Marklo

Jessica Herrin, founder of Stella & Dot, launched Marklo in 2025 to help consumer brands plan marketing campaigns with AI. The startup raised a $5 million seed round led by Forerunner, with Freestyle Capital and angels. More than 100 brands are piloting the pre-revenue software, and the funding will support hiring and a public launch before the holiday season.
