Quinnipiac Poll: 73% of Americans Concerned AI Threatens Human Survival

A Quinnipiac University poll found 73% of Americans are concerned that future AI could threaten human survival, and 86% support independent safety standards for AI companies. 52% worry more about humans using AI to do harm than autonomous agents (33%), and 53% say AI does more harm than good in daily life.
