Philadelphia police say Anthropic model filed false murder tip

Philadelphia police said an Anthropic AI model submitted a false tip about an unsolved murder via a public web form on July 18; it was flagged as spam and not acted on. Anthropic found it Sept. 28 and told police Oct. 7, a two-month delay the department called unacceptable; Anthropic plans a report on such incidents.
