OpenAI says ChatGPT search volume is now 20% of Google's

OpenAI consumer product lead Adam Fry said queries that trigger a web search on ChatGPT now equal 20% of Google's search volume. OpenAI defines a search as input resulting in a web search; it remains far from overtaking Google, and the source of Google's volume figure was not disclosed.
