MIT Technology Review maps deaths along US-Mexico border surveillance

MIT Technology Review and Times of San Diego spent 15 months investigating deaths near US-Mexico border surveillance towers. The team analyzed cases back to 2015, reviewed thousands of government documents and interviewed over 45 people, producing the first comprehensive map of deaths near the towers. Border Patrol estimates over 10,000 deaths since 2000.
