India forces caller-ID apps to share spam reports with telcos

India's telecom regulator amended commercial-communication rules to require caller-ID and call-management apps to send user spam reports to a blockchain platform run by telecom operators. Truecaller called the one-way requirement anti-competitive, noting India is its largest market with over 350 million of its 500 million-plus monthly users.
