Pakistan Deploys AI in Military Under 2025 Policy

Pakistan topped the Global Terrorism Index with 1,045 attacks and 1,139 deaths in 2025, and terrorism-linked fatalities rose 83% in Q3 2026 versus Q2. It has rolled out a National AI Policy 2025 and is embedding AI in defense via the Army Center of Emerging Technologies, the PAF's CENTAIC, and GIDS systems such as Shahpar-II drones and Spider anti-UAV gear.
