DOE Backs Quantum Computer With $215M

The US Department of Energy is putting up to $215 million behind a quantum computer that corrects its own errors and does useful science by 2028. Separately, US and Chinese security specialists urged their governments to prepare for AI threats that could compromise nuclear command networks or enable military cyber operations.
