Anthropic Releases Claude Haiku 5.5

Anthropic launched Claude Haiku 5.5, its fastest and cheapest small model, costing about 75% less to run than Haiku 4.5 and suited to high-volume tasks like summaries and classification; it is also the first Haiku-class model with an adjustable effort setting. The company also halved Sonnet 5.5 cache read prices, cutting agentic work costs by roughly 20%.
