Anthropic expands GSA deal with 40% Claude discount for agencies

Anthropic expanded its GSA partnership to give government agencies a 40% discount on Claude Enterprise, Claude for Government and the Claude API, covering direct and cloud purchases. About 500 US government organizations use Claude, federal civilian usage grew roughly 20-fold in a year, and the deal is estimated to save the government $1 billion.
