Microsoft sets new AI privacy rules for schools

Microsoft agreed with the American Federation of Teachers and NYC UFT on ten contract-enforceable AI safety and privacy principles for schools, pledging not to train models on student or educator data, limit data collection, and plainly disclose how its tools work.
