LitPivot helps refine research ideas via literature context
Researchers with the University of Pennsylvania built LitPivot, which organizes literature around a proposal being edited and offers excerpt-backed critiques and suggested revisions. In a 17-researcher study, ideas developed with it were rated better grounded, more novel and more useful than those from a text editor plus AI chat tool.
