NYC pension fund asks Anthropic to delay IPO
New York City Comptroller Mark Levine asked Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei to pause its IPO until AI risks are better controlled. The pension funds cover over 750,000 people with $330 billion in assets; their current Anthropic exposure is about $7 million but would grow if the company joins indices like the Russell 3000.
