YC S25 startup Alter launched access control for AI agents that act on behalf of multiple users. It proxies agent API calls, manages downstream credentials per end-user identity, enforces fine-grained runtime policies and keeps compliance-grade audit logs. The founders say custom multi-tenant auth was too costly for agents in regulated industries.
