Apple plans $1,000 home robot J595 for 2027
The Information reports Apple, under new CEO John Ternus, is pushing a home robot codenamed J595, possibly named HomeView Ultra, that roams autonomously, supports FaceTime and turns on lights. It targets a 2027 launch at $1,000 or more, with delays possibly pushing it to 2028.
