Mistral releases Timestral time-series foundation models

Mistral launched Timestral, its first family of time-series foundation models. The largest version, at 209M parameters, ranks first on GIFT-Eval, TIME and fev-bench, beating the prior state of the art with two-thirds the parameters. Four sizes from 5M to 209M support probabilistic multivariate forecasts and covariates, run efficiently on CPUs, and can be fine-tuned via Mistral Forge.
